ABOUT GHOST STORY

Who is Ghost Story?

We are a self-publishing game development studio, located in the greater-Boston area, dedicated to making narrative-driven experiences rooted in immersive world building and gameplay. You can learn more about our team and our vision here.

Why the name Ghost Story?

Ghost stories are immersive, exciting, and steeped in community.  The name reminds us of our mission.

What happened to Irrational Games?

The Irrational Games studio was closed by Take-Two Interactive in 2014. However, you might have seen continued activity on the Irrational Games Facebook or Twitter accounts. We are a new team, working on a new game and we’d like our studio name to reflect that.

How do I get a job at Ghost Story?

We’re occasionally looking for additional support, and you can find a full list of our open positions on our careers page.

Do you have any tips on how to get into the games industry?

Well, besides being driven to make games, you might enjoy reading this blog post by our creative director, Ken Levine.

What games have Ghost Story made?

We announced Ghost Story Game’s maiden project, Judas is currently deep in development. Individually our team members have been involved in the development and release of many games, including but not limited to System Shock 2, BioShock and BioShock Infinite, which were directed by Ken Levine under our former moniker Irrational Games.

Is Ghost Story involved with BioShock?

While members of the Ghost Story team helped create and develop the BioShock games and we’ve supported the community in the past, we’re no longer working on the BioShock franchise.

Is Ghost Story on social media?

Yes. In addition to our website, you can stay connected with us through a number of social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Twitch.  Check out our studio page to find out where to follow individual developers.

Does Ghost Story have forums?

We do not have our own forums, but you can always check out the community run pages on Reddit.

Who should I contact for PR inquiries?

You can send inquiries to [email protected]
